Canada’s Most Expensive Listing: Oakville’s $59M Chelster Hall

The most expensive real estate listing and home for sale in Canada right now is Oakville’s Chelster Hall. This $59,000,000 CAD estate was owned by beer baron Hugo Powell and his wife Tracy. Situated on Lake Ontario with 10 beautiful acres, this home has almost too much to list all in one sitting.

Designed by Oakville architect William Hicks, Chelster Hall was named after the Powells’ golden retrievers. This estate’s design was inspired by the 400-year-old Blickling Hall, the ancestral home of Anne Boleyn.

Chelster Hall has six bedrooms, 14 bath and twenty-seven other rooms throughout the 43,850 square feet. Everything is in here including wine cellar, spiral staircases, incredible bed and bathrooms and all the outdoor space you could ever want.

I’ve seen this estate on the market a few times before but the time seems right and we hope the new owners love this spot. It’s currently listed for $59,000,000 CAD with the Trilogy Team over at Sotheby’s International Realty.
