A Quebec Artisan Making Handmade Furniture With A Unique Twist

Those seeking to add something to their abode that’s not only exquisitely unique, but made by hand in Canada might want to explore the works of Kino Geurin. Today were taking a look at this Quebec based artist and celebrate his masterfully crafted pieces out of wood.

This talented artisan has developed his own molding technique which allows him to produce something that beautifully blends practicality with art. I’ve never quite seen anything like his work and we’re happy to share with our readers something quite special.

Kino Geurin was trained in cabinetmaking at CEGEP du Vieux-Montréal. Since then he has gone on to have his custom work cherished by clients across the globe. He creates tables, benches and shelves from his workshop and each design is unique in its own right.

Check out his story below in the video, as well just a small taste of his work in the photo gallery. If you’re interested in owning one of his pieces he is on Etsy, as well has his own online shop to get the process started.

Thanks to one of our readers for sending us in a news tip about Kino and is brilliant work. If you know someone doing something unique like this please do let us know as we love to cover Canadian artists doing amazing things.
