I’m a huge fan of live edge wood furniture and I”m always on the lookout for Canadian talent making waves in this space. Today we’re going to be looking at the work of Kimberley, BC, based Saw Live Edge and their bespoke Big Leaf Maple River Coffee Table.
These are custom made to order coffee tables and this specific one caught my eye on Etsy the other day and lead me to all the work Scott Alleyn creates. His shop is up in Kimberley, BC, and his hobby has quickly turned into a thriving business that’s been going since 2000.
This specific table can be ordered from him for somewhere around $3,400 CAD depending on the specs. The coffee table is handmade by Scott using Big Leaf Maple for the top, and the base is crafted out of Oregon Black Walnut which looks just so nice.
