I was down another Etsy rabbit hole the other day and came across an artist doing something quite special over in Quebec. Before Vladimir Davydov started creating and selling his wood carvings he was an engineer as well as an Entrepreneur.
In 2004, Vladimir opened a chain of men’s clothing stores and after four years he emigrated to Canada. Landing himself at the Atelier St-Louis-de-France under Mr. Pierre Goulet, he learned to create his style of art that you see here now.
Since then he has won many awards for his work, he became a professional member of the Conseil des Métiers d’Art du Québec and his work flew off the walls at The Art Gallery of Château Frontenac in Old Quebec.
